  1. Phil Goff did absolutely nothing when he came to Gisborne in 2012; – the year we had a 2000 people march to the rail station to publicly ask Government to fix our rail after a storm damaged it on 23rd March 2012.

    Goff stood there drinking a glass of sparkling wine while we all hoped and prayed he would help save our rail, but he as usual did nothing for us then or any time later.

    Quote;

    Gisborne residents have turned out in force, demanding that KiwiRail sink up to $4.3 million into repairing their railway line.

    Mayor Meng Foon estimated “at least 2000” people took part in a march through the city today in a bid to save the region’s rail link.

    The message from the march was “fix our rail” and was directed at KiwiRail and the Government, Foon said.

    1. +100 …I dont have faith in Phil Goff ( once a Roger Douglas man)

      …imo Tamihere makes mistakes but quite often he is proactive, pragmatic courageous and independent in his decision making

      …I see Tamihere as being the best hope for homeless Maori in the Auckland area

      …homeless Maori who have been made homeless in their own country by overseas buyers , massive immigration of foreigners , scarcity of NZ affordable housing and inflated values of NZ housing

      1. Phil Goff has failed and must be opposed .. win or lose, even if it looks/is impossible, evil must be opposed, especially in its insidious forms, aka Phil Goff.

        Good luck Auckland. Down here in Christchurch we are also trying to oust a former Labour MP; Lianne Dalziel and her council of leeches that constantly enable/perpetuate fraud and cronyism to the detriment of those who live here.
