The ACT Party will host white genocide conspiracy theorist James Lindsay as their keynote speaker at the annual party rally. James Lindsay is described by ACT as “a globally recognised advocate for free speech, open inquiry, and classical liberal values.”
What ACT fails to mention is that James Lindsay is a globally recognised racist, transphobe and has pushed the conspiracy of queer people being paedophiles into mainstream discourse, particularly by coining the term ‘groomer’.
“ACT describes James Lindsay in vague statements because they know that most people in Aotearoa would reject the dangerous, far-right and frankly weird views he propagates,” said Anne Campbell of Pōneke Anti-Fascist Coalition.
A proponent of the ‘white genocide’ theory, Lindsay regularly speaks on the supposed plan of Marxists to eradicate the white race. He claims that disparities between white and non-white communities are not the result of racism, but the result of white people having inherent qualities that mean they ‘perform’ better. He also pushes various conspiracies on the communist takeover of the United States via ‘wokeism’.
“It is really telling that this is the person that David Seymour is aligning himself with, but sadly perhaps not that surprising,” said Campbell. “He and James Lindsay are compelled to label the most powerless groups in society as threats in order to divert attention away from the extreme poverty, inequality and homelessness their ideologies create.
“These people have nothing more to offer than the same interchangeable far-right neuroses and hatreds that we’ve already heard ad nauseam,” said Campbell. “Aotearoa deserves better than what they’re desperately trying to sell us.”

Israel is an extension of the West. The West (Western governments) are rotten…growing censorship needed to mask what the West has become is the result. If we Westerners do not wake up to what our governments have become, then we too, will fall prey to their rottenness. Gaza is our future too, if we stay asleep.
Note that the ‘Free Speech Union’ have publicly cheered on their parent organization, the NZ Jewish Council, for calling for the suppression of anti-genocide speech as long as it’s done by government organizations and non-profits (you know… like InternetNZ).

I’ve just voted on this, ranking every candidate except Jonathan Ayling and Douglas Brown. 1 to 11 of the 13 running. To maximise the effect my voting can have for everyone except those two.
