  1. Well I reckon since time began , from the Sumerians to the tribes before, there has always been propagandists. Some smart bugger who held a grudge against that tribe over there who nicked off with his woman and used religion and ‘the stars will fall from heaven and the earth will heave on this or that full moon or that equinox’ to his or her advantage. Curse them with ‘a thousand fleas in the armpits’ mentality. Its always been with us and its not exclusive to the west nor the east. All have done it. Give or take a Goebbels here or there,…a little further on a software program or three,… and voila!

    There’s nothing new under the sun.

    Ecclesiastes 1:9

    New International Version

    What has been will be again,
    what has been done will be done again;
    there is nothing new under the sun.

    So don’t feel bad,… humankind has never changed bar a few latter day technological devices. Cavemen with cell phones, mate. And that’s about all. I’m happy, how about you?

  2. There used to be a schoolkid chant ‘Stacks on the mill, more on still’. I think you had to chase a quick individual and when caught, everyone pinned him or her down. A lot of very average behaviour seen today is really kid stuff with grown-up extras, as in the social media example. And the lack of thought and introspection leads to unquestioning acceptance of media presentations especially on tv and videos etc. People were sold the idea of ‘reality shows’ which were just instant reaction shows manipulated with a basic script, so not reality at all. The psychology has been done on how to persuade, how to manipulate the psyche – the memory.
