  1. 3 Waters had some pluses but was never accepted by the middle of the road voters because it was represented by Mahuta .She seemed to make it a Maori issue. Jackson is the same type of person who quite rightly is a proud Maori but is desperate to appeal to all voters which is hard.

    1. So, if 3-Waters ‘had some plusses’ why were so many people too stupid to overlook Mahuta and see the advantages to themselves of going with 3-Waters.
They cut off their noses to spite their faces.
They happily accept having to boil or buy water for years, flooding, sewerage polluting beaches, rivers and lakes. They accept inadequate and broken pipes, water-cuts as in Wellington, and all the other niggly expensive problems we have with water, sewerage and flooding because they can’t accept it being Nanaia Mahuta telling them about it.
Is that a good enough reason to vote against their own interests?

While we’re at it, how many ‘middle of the road voters’ have won an Oxford Union debate? Very few, if any, so if they can’t take Willie Jackson, they appear to be in very ignorant company. They appear to be on a par with the magas.

    2. 3 waters was never accepted because NACT went hard on the lie that the MAORI were being gifted half the water in NZ .The gulable squeezed middle jumped on the band wagon because it was populist bull shit and was seen as acceptable to attack 20% of NZ s population who were actually born and raised here and contribute $80 billion to our economy .The 40% of the population that are recent arrivals also believed the lie because they allowed them selves to be used as pawns in nationals game .WE WILL SAVE YOUR DAIRIES ,hows that going i wonder and how are the crushed middle feeling right now down at the MSD office and the bank trying to stave off the mortgagee sale .

    3. Says the pomme hating on Maori, that much is evident. Now we have Seymour and Luxon making everything about Maori, oh the irony.

  2. I’m sorry but how can Labour be a serious contender to address the problems this country faces with Hipkins in charge

    1. Are you suggesting that we take Luxon seriously? Do you even live here? Please articulate how Nationals economic strategies are ‘improving’ lives of Kiwis?

  3. Please no one in the labour party ever say capital gains tax ever again.

Many ways to skin a cat saying CGT is not one of them.

  4. There could be money in offering lessons in how to relax your body while listening to politicians and business leaders saying malevolent lies, and more. So that you don’t come out all screwed up inside, infected with the virulent, me-me at-all-costs virus or suffering such a reaction that can only be cured by a full bottle of vodka or a day in bed, better before the vodka though!
