  1. 100& Jin,

I bow my hat to you as this was the neo-liberal “myth” they were feeding us to allow the rich so much “corporate welfare”

This must stop and the country’s wealth re-distributed among the 99% where we will see real economic restoration again as we had during the mid 1950-60s.

“We know the idea wealth will naturally trickle down as rich people spend their money has failed: research found that rich people don’t spend that much in the local economy. It’s the low to middle class that spends the most in the local economy, not the super-rich”

  2. ” New Zealand has seen a rapid growth in inequality since the 1980s. ”

    ……………………………………….

And it was for this same reason I introduced a website dedicated to the writings of Hugh Price of Price Publishers when Chris Trotter devoted an article to the recent loathsome Jenny Shipley’s interviewing by Guyon Espiner.

And for the same reason I will do it here ,- to give an accurate historical background from one of our most prolific anti New Right campaigners who unfortunately died in December 2009, aged 80, – and a member of the Campaign Against Foreign Control of Aotearoa (CAFCA) about just why ,- and who – was truly responsible for this country’s destruction.

    Please enjoy.

  3. With the One Percenters (1%) clinging on to 99% of the world’s wealth, we have societies breaking down, people can not afford to rent houses and feed themselves hence the onus comes back onto Government which is basically us the people and the taxpayers.

Furthermore with the weakening of the middle classes there is less money circulating in the economy and the economy is less robust as there is less money available to spend on consumables by the middle and lower class people.

The world is basically reverting back to a feudal type society with the global elite and the oligarchs controlling Governments and the People.
