  1. If Farrars polling company is run the same way as his analysis of of employment contract it is no wonder ACT and NZ First poll so well.
All the points outlined by Ian are what one would expect in any contract for a senior employee.
In one of my past lives I was allocated 2 weeks of professional development relative to my field of endeavor up to a value agreed each budget. It was not a perk, in fact it was a requirement that our HR team followed up to ensure it was completed. Not a holiday.

Thank you for your excellent, informative blogs.

  3. I’m sure the disgusting freak Farrar is completely unbiased here.

He’ll be advocating that REINZ drops the requirement for continuing professional development junkets too, right? I’m sure 99% of real estate agents, those gems of society, just do online courses, right? Hahahahahahahahah

  4. Sounds as if Farrar is very concentrated on seeking out perks – is familiar with them, nudge, nudge. I wonder if he will register the image showing an associate of the writer with head in the traditional nose-bag/gravy train??

  5. Farrar’s approach to discrediting salaried senior doctors seems to ignore the real challenges faced by medical professionals in public health systems. Negotiations are about more than just salary; they address systemic issues that impact the quality of care patients receive.
