  1. There is no real analysis in this decision. Slimeon Brown stains only claim to fame was that of a bank teller and Cluxon put him in charge of health where some of the most brilliant minds in health have now decided to go on strike for, in effect, a salary cut. What the hell is he doing in health? Browns and the righties dislike for unions is obvious and Browns use of patients as a weapon is disgusting. The fact Brown attacks these union backed surgeons knowing he has private insurance and can access private surgery at will, shows that he is repugnant.
Brown is way out of his depth in health, in fact in all portfolio’s.

  2. Brown comes across as an intelligent fellow, competent, efficious, articulate. A man with a career in front of him. My kids don’t like him. They’re about the same age and they see something in him that they recognize from those they work with – or possibly from their school days. They refer to him as a weasel, whatever that means, but given the bad rap of stouts and weasels for their predatory and opportunist behaviour I can guess. I’m not into character assasination. My concern are his ideological beliefs. Yes, he may well believe he’s doing the right thing but there’s more to it than this. When you drill down – as the blog posted admirably does – clearly there are numerous concerns. Brown is no fool though – and a touch too clever to be naive. He’s a man with an agenda. Ideologically driven. In that sense he’s a dangerous fellow,
indoctrinated into the fold, not to be trusted. My kids have a point.

    1. Ideology for ideology’s sake is mad. It shows lack of ideas and creativity, lack of sense and lack of a desire to make things better and inability to adapt. The idea is more important than the results which seems a strange way of doing things.
Brown might be efficient but for whose benefit? Not ours.
Many of the National party profess to be Christians but are not the sort of Christians I admire.
They are intolerant, opportunist and superior. They are satisfied with dealing meanly to attain their goals and are not essentially good people.

    2. They should put him and David Seymour in the ring for fight for life. Two little weasels scurrying around the ring trying not to get hurt and because they’re too weak to put their hands up to do the hard work. Probably why Seymour opted for the Dances with no Stars.

  3. Is this not the same government that scraped every project that cost over a million ? now this little twerp wants to spend $20 billion on one road and another $20 billion on hospitals that his government cut because one was going to be $1.8 billion .It would have been built by now if they had left it alone .I am concerned at what the final cost of the ferries and port work will be ,$20 billion seems to be a good ball park .
