  1. Totally agree Dave.

The tendency of the rate of profit to fall is off limits for capitalist economists, and NZ workers own central labour organisation, the class collaborationist NZ Council of Trade Unions do not consider such things seriously either, settling for tailing the NZ Labour Caucus–and lobbying–rather than being class left fighters.

We are in for an increasingly rough ride (and weather events) alright until some significant anti capitalist action does build.

Footnote. Peter Conway ex NZCTU economist was involved in Marxist study groups for a bit, then took a degree course in Economics and soon declared LTRPF was incorrect, not a happening thing at all.

  2. p.s.

Dave and Mike Treen write some serious stuff on TDB which seems too challenging for the usual suspects-smart arse commenters, judging by their absence.

The bourgeois Parliament is just the officially sanctioned form of politics. Workers power is the politics we should be organising for.
