Twitter is the land of the woke, it has given them more power to cancel than any other platform, now with a heteronormative cis male Tech Bro owning it, the woke will be forced to choose between their deplatforming dogma and leave or swallow a dead rat and stay.

In 2010, the 388 richest individuals owned more wealth than half of the entire human population on Earth
By 2015, this number was reduced to only 62 individuals
In 2018, it was 42
In 2019, it was down to only 26 individuals who own more wealth than 3.8 billion people.
And in 2021, 20 people owned more than 50% of the entire planet.
This week the richest man on Earth bought one of the most important social media platforms.
While that happened, oil companies globally made billions while catastrophic climate change continues unabated…
World close to ‘irreversible’ climate breakdown, warn major studies
The climate crisis has reached a “really bleak moment”, one of the world’s leading climate scientists has said, after a slew of major reports laid bare how close the planet is to catastrophe.

On Thursday, Shell and TotalEnergies both doubled their quarterly profits to about $10bn. Oil and gas giants have enjoyed soaring profits as post-Covid demand jumps and after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The sector is expected to amass $4tn in 2022, strengthening calls for heavy windfall taxes to address the cost of living crisis and fund the clean energy transition.
All three of the key UN agencies have produced damning reports in the last two days. The UN environment agency’s report found there was “no credible pathway to 1.5C in place” and that “woefully inadequate” progress on cutting carbon emissions means the only way to limit the worst impacts of the climate crisis is a “rapid transformation of societies”.

ANZ records first $2b profit: ‘Keeping close eye on recent home-buyers’
ANZ’s chief executive says the bank is keeping a close eye on borrowers who were stress-tested for their home loans at a rate below current market interest rates.
The country’s largest bank posted its first $2 billion annual profit on Thursday.
In the 12 months to September 30, it made a cash net profit after tax of $2.064b, up 8% compared with the year before. Its statutory net profit after tax, which includes gains and losses from economic hedges, was $2.229b, up 20%.
Net interest income was up 10%. Chief executive Antonia Watson said the 8% increase in profit was a result of a combination of pent-up economic activity after the pandemic and a buoyant housing market.

Our work, our existence, every move we make are all built to suck money to a minority class that sits above us while under neoliberalism, globalization, financialization, and automation, our existence as individuals has only become more disposable.

Mr Musk did not buy Twitter for something to do–he has his rockets to amuse himself with after all. No, like other moneybags–Rupert Murdoch et al–he wants control of a popular media channel for political & ideological reasons.
In analogue days there was a truism, “Freedom of the press belongs to them that owns one”. Technology has moved on, but the likes of Zuckerberg and others own platforms with horrendous influence on the subjective thinking of millions of people.
Musk’s first action was revenge sacking staff instrumental in prohibiting the Mango Mussolini from using Twitter. He is a right wing arsehole of the first order and really it should be “abandon ship” and quit Twitter for current users with even half a brain. Stay if you want, but you will likely soon be banned, blocked, doxed or worse. Look at how Musk treats people that work for his companies and try to organise a union. He cannot handle dissent or different views, strangle his new enterprise from the beginning I say.
