Labour MPs apologise for swearing at acting PM David Seymour
Labour MP Deborah Russell has apologised for swearing at acting Prime Minister David Seymour to kick off a tetchy select committee hearing.
Seymour, who is acting PM while Christopher Luxon is travelling to China, today fronted the finance and expenditure select committee so members could scrutinise the budget for his new Ministry of Regulation as part of Parliament’s scrutiny week.
During Seymour’s brief initial remarks to committee members, Russell and fellow Labour MP Megan Woods could be heard conversing.
After Seymour had concluded, National MP Ryan Hamilton alerted committee chairman and National MP Cameron Brewer to a “rather unparliamentary outburst” from Russell during the minister’s comments and claimed he wanted to check whether that indicated the standard of committee behaviour.
Brewer seemed happy to move on after noting any such behaviour would warrant the application of Parliament’s rules called Standing Orders.
However, Seymour quickly piped up, asking Russell what she had said.
“It’s something I should have kept under my breath,” Russell responded.
“Well, just tell, people would like to know,” Seymour replied.
“I believe I said, ‘For f**** sake’ in response to something you said,” Russell said bluntly, to which Seymour chuckled.
“That’s the standard of the Labour Party, they’re swearing already,” he proclaimed with a grin.
It wasn’t just Deborah, Duncan Webb couldn’t hold back either…
Labour MP Duncan Webb appeared to follow Russell’s example, claiming later in the committee meeting Seymour was “making s*** up”.
…this isn’t the first time David has had swear words used against him, Jacinda once called him an arrogant little prick, that’s because there’s something magical about David Seymour that just indices swear words.
Whether is describing his school lunches, his Treaty Referendum Bill, his knee capping of pay parity, gutting of Worksafe, destruction of emergency housing, creation of laws that empower corporations, what ever David touches becomes toxic, he’s like a libertarian Midas that manages to take gold and turn it into shit.
Where ever David appears, a chorus of swear words follow him like rats dancing after the pied piper!
People can’t help but look at that face and twerking butt and swear.

I would say well done to Jacinda, Deborah and Duncan for expressing so well how probably the majority of NZers feel about David Seymour.
He lacks morals or credibility. He thinks he is Way More Superior Than Everyone Else on the Planet. That Arrogance Streak in him I hope will Ensure His Demise as a politician. Mind you I also hope for the Demise of the ACT Party even whenever is the general election.
The Prime Weakling/Coward/Gutless and Spineless Wonder that is Luxon has allowed Seymour far too much lee-way and in fact allow Seymour to “Almost Get Away With Murder”. If Luxon had “Any Balls” He Should Have the Right Thing that a TRUE LEADER/Manager would do and that is Reign In Seymour.
So in a way of showing His Total Incompetence as a Representative of NZ and NZers Luxon has allowed the leader of a minor political party to Hold Luxon by His Very Own ‘Balls’.
It has taken some very smart and intelligent female MPs in the Opposition to speak up about Seymour yet it seems the females in the coalition government are either scared or intimidated by the Cosy Relationship between Seymour and Luxon and Will NOT Speak Out and Tell Seymour to “Put a Sock in his mouth and choke on it”.

Never confuse Seymour with someone who did useful work!
You can just imagine him in the headmaster’s office telling tales of other children’s mis-deeds can’t you?
David Seymour playing the victim again.
He’s always so hard done by. Everyone has it in for him. No-one gives him a fair go.

Seymour should not have the power he does. He didn’t get the votes.
