  1. David should have been PM years ago .He would have turned NZ around and we would all be well down the road to a prospering ,more equal society .

  2. In thinking Jacinda was the chosen one, Labour missed having another boring looking, grey-suited male, who in David Parker’s case, may have been a better proposition. He was under-utilised and under appreciated.
That’s why they need to look at boring hazbeen Chippy and say, we can do better, we have the people, we just need to give them the opportunity.
Or, Chippy needs to recognise his ego is talking and bravely anoint someone. Someone interesting.
Someone a little charismatic and very intellectually competent. Willy? McAnulty as deputy? Willow-Jean Prime is getting interesting. Maybe her as deputy.

  3. Thanks David, thanks a million for pushing through the TPPA and further cementing in neoliberalism and paving the way for dissolution of democracy by the corporate and tech bros.

  4. A great loss to N Z politics, can Labour ever reclaim David Parker’s ideals which in this day feel almost radical and transformational. I hope he can go on to do great things for Kiwis where ever he goes, we need more of his sort, principled, clear-minded, and a champion of fairness.
