  1. “Trans boys and men, and non binary people may have periods.” would probably have been OK. An alternative (incorrect) meaning would have been conveyed by “Trans boys, men, and non binary persons may have periods.”.

Some people need to learn how to use commas.

  2. There’s a lot of bullshit out there.
    Don’t forget your Bullshit Detector.
    Happy Days.

  3. It’ll be interesting to see how Stuff management respond.

It’s an apallingly badly written story and shows how Stuff have been gutted of sub-editors that something so wildly inaccurate could be allowed to slip through.

The ensuing reactionary hysteria shows how the msm can whip up hatred against minorities. This is not good. Stuff editors should be thoroughly ashamed.Personally I think they’re going to duck for cover.

    1. I’m not sure it’s just due to cost cutting, it looks an obvious anti left political line to run to capitalize on the general nausea induced in everyone else by the woke left. As such accuracy is not necessary.

  4. This is lazy and/or dishonest on his (DPF’s) part? Um, that’s simply how he plays.

When you live in Wellington, know the right people, get invited onto reputable media forums to make comment and are quoted relatively widely on political issues, you can say what you like. Your comments have validity.

No matter you’re the little halfback who says things the right way to get others doing the eye-gouging in the bottom of rucks. No matter you’re the gang member smiling to help granny across the road after dealing methamphetamine to 9 year olds

  5. Stuff or Fairfax or whatever they call themselves have a bit to answer for. It was their fallacious reporting that Farrar seized on to make his histrionic post. I hope you follow through with a complaint to the Press Council , Frank, because bad “reporting” like that article cannot go unchallenged.

No wonder Trump screams “fake news” when we see bullshit like this on our msm.

  6. I have some admiration for that nasty little Natsy blogger Farrar, he has some skills, for sure, how to spin and twist stories, so that so many ‘hard working’ Kiwis fall for it, and follow his blog and his ideology.

He is also an expert at writing some posts, leading to others letting off steam, while he can lean back, as whatever abuse and so they may use, it cannot reflect back onto Farrar, as he never said or wrote what they do, in his posts (he only hinted stuff).

Perhaps some writers here can hone their skills, to do something similar, so to win over those hopeless middle class simpletons, who will vote for whosoever tells them the greatest BS stories, that sound believable, and that may convince them, voting otherwise will only invite the devil.

  7. Kiwiblog = “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and Farrar is the Head Cuckoo IMHO
