As a gay man I think everyone should be free to be whoever they want as long as they aren’t hurting people and are over the age of 18.
Most people will atleast try and be respectful.
However, while I don’t like that Winston is doing this for political reasons there’s absolutely an argument for some kind of legislation being necessary on the issue of sex v gender.
same sex organizations and clubs, charities and support groups should be able to limit their members to people of the biological sex if that’s what the members and organization wants.
If women’s sports teams don’t want MTF trans women on their team, fine. If gay male saunas don’t want FTM trans men at their venues because their clientele don’t want it, fine, if domestic violence shelters ever decide they don’t want trans woman at their shelters, fine. If mens support groups wanna be limited to biological men, fine.
There are obviously better examples than the ones I’m making but I think there should be exemptions to certain organizations from having to accept members who are biologically the opposite sex of its membership.

I think that sounds sensible and fair Corey. It used to be that women were kept out of much in society, that Jews were not able to join society organisations in usa and elsewhere – plenty of demeaning attitudes abounded.
Things have improved but it is always good to be able to mingle with those one feels relaxed with. Maybe it would be wise to socially interact at times. Intersex toilets I don’t agree with. If I got stuck and there wasn’t one available for me, I would like to be able to ask for permission to use the other ‘s; if reasonableness and acceptance of difference was usual there would be few problems.
But this encouragement to reject one’s own gender even when tinies or even when teenage, and such a to-do about it, has been a disadvantage to society. It’s not something to be Proud about by those who have instigated it.
If we are so worried about who uses the toilets, let’s just have unisex stalls – I certainly won’t miss the stinky and sticky urinal wall.
