  1. All the conspiratorial types who voted for Winnie will likely go out of their weak collective minds when they’re made to install RUC tracking devices in their clapped out thousand dollar cars. I also await with bated breath what the Groundswell loonies are going to say.

  2. The conspiratorial types who voted for Winnie must be loving the idea of a personal RUC tracker being forced into their shitty cars. Wait till Groundswell start to pay attention.

  3. Will this CoC ever learn from their many mistakes? The same problems arise every time they fast-track a bill. It is grossly under prepared, lacks scrutiny/detail and brought in so quickly they have failed to see, or iron out, the pitfalls. No, they won’l learn; they are like a “runaway train” – no direction and very vulnerable to collapsing completely. There is no leadership, no due process, no time for input – just ram it through, tell us it’s ‘world class’ and hope for the best. Please can they implode very soon? Intelligent folk have had more than enough of the BS, lies, corruption and distractions. The enabling BLOCKHEADS need a huge wake-up call!

  4. Picture a typical middle class NZ family going on a car based holiday – this was the cheap option for many – but in the future it will come with a large miles driven road user charge bill.
The inclusion of multiple private sector operators to manage the system will mean paying dividends to share holders every time you drive on a road in NZ. Not dissimilar to the electricity network. And just like electricity free market forces do not apply to a roading network. And just like electricity maintenance and new capacity will be constrained to prioritize the protection of share holder value and not the overall NZ economy.

  5. When it’s a government like Labour the ZB mantra is “all you do is tax, tax, tax. When it’s National it’s “user pays”. Wow what a difference.

Then the likes of Bishop talk about fairness! Are f’ing kidding me. Why not make the tax system fair?
