Chippy lashes out at Winston’s racism and the most honest thing Winston has ever said in 60 years

Winston Peters has been accused of “pure racism” in Parliament by Labour leader Chris Hipkins, who has called out National ministers for failing to combat or challenge it.
The Greens say Peters is scapegoating migrants, while ACT’s David Seymour – his own Cabinet colleague – says Peters is simply seeking attention.
The Question Time Exchange Explained
The condemnation came following Parliament’s Question Time on Wednesday when the NZ First leader singled out a Green MP for his Rarotongan heritage.
Green MP Teanau Tuiono had used the word “Aotearoa” to refer to New Zealand while asking questions about climate aid in the Pacific.
It prompted Peters to interrupt: “Why is [the minister] answering a question from someone who comes from Rarotonga to a country called New Zealand”
Speaker Intervention And Parliamentary Rules
Speaker Gerry Brownlee cut him off to object to noise from other MPs in the debating chamber.
Hipkins then leapt to his feet: “Members in this House are equal. For a member of the House to stand up and question whether someone is entitled to ask a question because of their country of origin is pure racism, and you should’ve stopped him in the beginning.”
Brownlee said he did not hear Peters’ remark, but would review the transcription later.
Peters then completed his question, asking why somebody from Rarotonga had decided “without any consultation with the New Zealand people” to change the country’s name.
In response, Brownlee said that was “not an acceptable question at all”.
“I want that to be the last time that those sort of questions are directed so personally at members of this House,” Brownlee said.
Tuiono has both Māori and Cook Islands Māori heritage but was born in New Zealand.

Why Teanau Tuiono Became The Target
Green MP Teanau Tuiono is one of the hardest working, most conscientious politicians in Parliament.
His thoughtfulness, his considered deliberation, his ethics mark him as one of the best we have, for Winston to shit all over him in the manner he did, simply because he referred to NZ as Aotearoa is a naked disgusting racism that manages to make a new low point in Winston’s hateful 60 years in politics.
The secret to Winston’s success has been that he’s the Māori who says terrible things about other Māori and minorities that the angry whites love, it is absolute righteous that Chippy tore strips off him and called Winston out for the race baiting whero-neck hate he is using and rightfully called out National for allowing this type of toxic garbage in our Parliament!
“Stand Back And Watch The Polls Go”
It led to Winston saying the most honest thing he has ever said in NZ politics, and I quote:
“I’m not indulging fools here. Let me tell you something: stand back and watch the polls go.”
EXACTLY! Winston is doing this and playing these types of dirty games to gain support from the angry white reactionary NZ Rump vote.
That’s what makes Winston so ugly, he knows this racist garbage is unacceptable, but he does it for the votes.
What a disgusting politician and what a terrible thing it says about us that he is for the 5th time the ‘King Maker’.
Whether voters reward this brand of politics or recoil from it will become clear soon enough. But if Winston Peters is right about one thing, it’s this — the polls will tell us exactly how much appetite there is for this style of political provocation in modern Aotearoa.

During that exchange, there was a Cook Islands delegation in the visitors gallery, who had earlier been welcomed by the whole House standing on their feet and clapping as it customary. How embarrassing.
Go Chippy .Its high time this old bastard was bought to heal .Once again the speaker was as weak as piss and its high time he stepped aside to allow some one that has open ears to take over .But finding a non racist in the government ranks would be like winning a major lotto prize ,near imposable .
