Budget surplus – what budget surplus?
The claim we have a surplus when there is so much social deficit is a game of smoke and mirrors played by the National Government. The question is are New Zealanders smart enough to see through this illusion?

I’ve read a lot of ‘100 days of Trump’ stuff and it seems to me that the Left are still unable to admit and accept why Trump won. This matters because if the Left still can’t comprehend how Trump won, then they have little chance of beating this orange deranged revenge fantasist in 4 years time.

…such a level of support looks like National are importing an electorate. This was always the criticism the Right made of Labour’s support of migration from the Pacific Islands.
…National Party insiders were terrified when they discovered that Lusk and Slater were planning a take over of the National Party using MPs like Mark Mitchell to create a new hard right Government.
