As a frequent harsh critic of the Labour government it’s a pleasure to  welcome Health Minister Andrew Little’s decision to restructure the health system.

We should speak clearly against human rights abuses wherever they occur. Ethics and morality should be the guiding principles we follow rather than sycophancy to the biggest schoolyard bullies.

There is no sign of such a law change on the horizon here in Aotearoa but as sure as night follows day police here will, sooner or later, want to replicate these laws as protests against inequality, climate change and mass extinction inevitably intensify.

Support for an industrial-scale state house building programme now extends far across the political spectrum from the progressive left to the hard right.

So when you are next on a demonstration check the police on duty and speak up if you see tasers on a police belt. Doing so means you are acting in the public interest.

It is unacceptable to have Israel’s vaccination programme constantly misrepresented in the New Zealand media.

In response to Syd Jackson’s comment on ties: “I refuse to wear that white man’s noose around my neck” on my facebook page someone has replied “But it’s OK to get a white man’s vaccination in your body ????”.
