Deconstructing Headlines

What was interesting about Bridges wasn’t him admitting our judicial system is corrupt or that there are no actual means to challenge cases that are fundamentally miscarriages of justice, oh no, Bridges honed in on the witch hunt element.

The new Government still haven’t managed to get control over the levers of power and it leaves the question open, is the new Government running this country or are right wing Wellington bureaucrats still running NZ? 

New Zealander’s are confusingly saying that they want to smoke cannabis, use it for medicine, but don’t want a regulated market that stops organised crime from dominating the industry and removes all the actual taxation revenue from Government coffers.

Phil Goff was right to ban these crypto-fascsists from  a publicly funded venue, but his need to appeal to liberal Auckland at a time when his Leadership as Mayor was eroding him support from the Left threw a gas bomb on this and allowed these Hate Merchants to play the free speech martyrs.

…we can not in good conscience allow a country with a two tiered system based on race to continue to remain on NZ soil in any offical capacity.

We are not a people who will tolerate big swinging dick cops coming into our personal spaces armed. The guns will become an immediate source of tension, and that tension will get played out time and time and time again.

Another home goal by a Government who seem to think their problem is a lack of ‘gender intelligence’ in selling their ideas, and not basic strategic competence.  Isn’t it time someone called back in Matt McCarten? Hasn’t he been punished enough and isn’t this incompetence starting to hurt?

Why let the war mongers dictate the narrative? Why not have a leader who can articulate a vision of co-operation in the Pacific challenge that narrative by being direct in our criticism while inclusive in our solutions?
