National’s position on this is hardly ethical.

Some around the world have freaked out at NZs decision to lockdown based on one case of Covid.

The speed & possible size of this Covid outbreak in NZ must end the delusion that we are opening our borders anytime this year or next year – even vaccinated we can’t simply see the deaths of vulnerable people as an acceptable collateral damage for business or tourism.

Frightened people queuing to buy food don’t need to be harassed like this.

I don’t blame people for being ‘vaccine hesitant’ because this is all scary stuff but I do blame people like Billy TK and his leadership team who manipulate this fear for personal power and money.

National and ACT can go on and on about reopening the borders and the Government can cave into business interests and promise it to them, but the millisecond we get an outbreak we will be forced back into lockdown again because we don’t have the capacity for the sick and the dead.
