Muldoon had no problems using rugby with apartheid racists to create a culture war that divided the country and pitted Kiwi against Kiwi in a political dance of spite. By so recklessly waking the sleeping dogs of provincial racism, Winston has not only proved how very right the Greens were to attack him, he has also revealed that he is prepared to set alight a Muldoon civil war in order to gain power.

If you honestly believe that banning the Maori electorates & making Parliament less democratic are the greatest issues confronting us as a country right now, then you shouldn’t vote!
