  1. Agreed. How resources are used, the generation and consumption of energy, patterns of consumption, the very economics that are predicated on the current paradigm; all this has gotta change … and not only because of the consequences of global warming and climate change.

    Mitigation or adaptation? Reducing/ stabilizing greenhouse gas emissions to slow the rate of climate change, or adjusting to the now real impacts? That’s the science. And the politics. But the elephant in the room looms large.
