  1. I do not think Labour shone in the poll either. no policy no direction.Plenty of time to reap the harvest of the hard calls the Coalition needed to make.

    1. It’s a pity that they made dumb calls instead of hard calls then. Supermarkets and electricity prices would be 2 obvious items they could have transformed but they looked after corporate profits and punished the people instead. I don’t have much faith in Labour for transformative change which is why the Greens and TMP need to get enough support to make real positive changes.

      1. Bonnie I can see where you are coming from regarding Labour. They completely f’d up the communication and messages around three waters because that was a better idea than the shit solutions from the Coalition now. All from the very wankers who went on about democracy, when they are all too often undemocratic.

    2. They are turning on each other now, Willis is blaming John Key now, hilarious. She’s run out of excuses but plucked one from left or should I say, right field.

  2. Trevor you are the right wing gift that keeps giving. Even when the right wing business round table are telling us this National coalition is taking us backwards, you state it will all work out in the end. It hasn’t and it won’t and you have also stated things are on the improve, the evidence is contrary.
yet somehow you manage to turn it back onto Labour( god you are boring) who aren’t even in government(but will be next year).

  3. Satan is probably the best choice – that dude has charisma – Luxon looks like a week-old baozi with vegan filling.

Bishop looks like the kind of sad sausage roll left uneaten by an entire Labour Party conference.

Willis, having munted the economy is poised to retire to some other country and become a lady novelist.

And Simian Brown is the person most likely to suffer surgical neglect – with meshes left behind a distant second behind uncharted rectal insertions while he’s anaesthetized.

  4. Business leaders like not being taxed but they like that less than losing customers and revenue. It looks like a problem they’ll need a new supplier to solve. What is Labours response to the RFQ?

  5. Why is Bishop loathed in National? Was it the public desire for lower house prices? Whatever he really meant, it’s a very off brand message from a National MP. Luxon must have been mortified.

I actually heard he and McNulty on RNZ this morning and it sounded positively civil. Not agreeing but not trash talking each other either.

  6. DGAF about what CEO’s think. They should stay in their lane and keep the eff out of politics. I’m fucking sick of how govt. panders to the private sector. set a framework and get business the fuck out of govt. and govt. the fuck out of free enterprise. all corporate leeches and hangers on should be purged from liberal democracy and held at a regulatory framework arms length

  7. Looks like green and brown to turn the country around .We need to rebuild from the bottom up .Hell even Willis can see when Maori are doing well NZ will do well .The biggest growth in NZ right now is the Maori economy .The reason they are hated is because they are showing the colonists how poorly they have done with all of the stolen Maori land and other assets .Look what Maori have achieved in the last 20 years and is all going to double year on year very soon .

  8. The list of replacements looks bloody awful eh .I once rated Stanford but she has shown her true colours with the current white wash of education and her lack of action with the abuse in care people which is being swept under the carpet .
Upston would be the most vile person to be PM she has a full blown hate for the less well off even after using those social services her self for years and now doing a Paula Bennett and doing her best to prevent anyone else from getting the same hand up she had .
No ,just boot the whole lot and let the green and brown turn NZ into the country it should be .

  9. Looking at the photo opportunity, something Luxon has Often Taken Advantage of but NOT at His financial expense, he looks like someone from the eyes down as Being Dead From the Head Down..
The Pleasure Cruise at the Expense of the NZ Taxpayers with all it Perks of the job is what Keeps Him in the Job.
But other than that he has No Interest in being a PRIME MINISTER of a country He has NO INTEREST In.
He Would Much Rather be Seen Gallivanting Around the World and from One Photo Opportunity to Another Than Actually SOMEDAY be a Representative of a Country.
And so we must Praise Luxon for being the Perfect Representative of a Political Party that holds the NZ voters in Total Contempt and Hatred Outside of Election time. To be so contemptuous of those you want vote from must be a hard dish to swallow.
But then can we expect National to follow ethic?????
