So an employee who is one of the 300k plus who is under employed is going to get shafted .If said employee works 4 hrs a day every day and gets sick they are entitled to 40 hrs sick leave per year under the current system .Under the new system they will only get 20 hours per year .
As long as I was working sick leave was always measured in hours taken as some times you only took a half day or a couple of hours if you went home sick .Those 2 hours were deducted from the 40 hours or what ever was still allowed .
Any boss who thinks cutting back on staff sick leave is a good idea isn’t good at business. Or reality of how work places work.
