  1. Well apparently in this so called MMP democracy ‘representation to all and sundry political system’ the voters voted this time around to be governed by kiddies, 40 year old virgins, conspiracy theorists, alt right lunatics, white supremist red band wearing cow cockies, racists, fascists, corporate raiders, banksters, and pig ignorant gun barrel kissers – so the rest of us will have to just put up till we get to spin the electorate wheel of fortune again. We can protest in the meantime though.

  2. I wonder when kiwi will eventually wake up to the fact that our current government does nothing for us.

Pay equity, WorkSafe and now sick leave.

What’s next, reducing the minimum wage?

    1. There will be a freeze on wages next, although it is happening now by the many protests around the country.

  3. So an employee who is one of the 300k plus who is under employed is going to get shafted .If said employee works 4 hrs a day every day and gets sick they are entitled to 40 hrs sick leave per year under the current system .Under the new system they will only get 20 hours per year .
As long as I was working sick leave was always measured in hours taken as some times you only took a half day or a couple of hours if you went home sick .Those 2 hours were deducted from the 40 hours or what ever was still allowed .

  4. Any boss who thinks cutting back on staff sick leave is a good idea isn’t good at business. Or reality of how work places work.

  5. And yet the working man still votes Tory go figure

    1. maybe they will have learned the valuable lesson now those middle class WORKING people who now realize they are no where near in the sorted club .

    2. ‘And yet the working man still votes Tory go figure’
The problem is the working people who do NOT vote because they have lost faith in governments doing anything for them.
