Latest Taxpayers’ Union Poll* points to a hung Parliament.
Every time a Māori Labour MP resigns, Chippy’s leadership becomes weaker. The Māori Labour Caucus is the biggest faction supporting Chippy. Winston has demanded Chippy’s head as the price to do business with Labour, but it will be more than that.
Winston will want Chippy’s head AND he will want Prime Minister for 18 months and then hand it over to whoever inside Labour he can convince to commit the coup.
The danger for the Greens is that if they lose their 3rd party ranking that they will be forced to bow the knee to NZ First and suck Winston’s boot.
The decision for the Greens will be stark – either allow another National/ACT/NZF Government or enable a Labour/NZF/Green Government by providing supply and confidence in return for some magical vegan beans.
The political outcomes now are:
- National/ACT/NZF returned to power for a second term.
- NZF/Labour/Greens with Winston as PM for 18months and the Greens providing supply and confidence for very little.
- Labour/Greens/MP with a much more radical economic, societal and environmental platform.

My money is on COC to form the next government without the popular vote.
Everything they do for the next three years no matter how unpopular they will argue they have a mandate for including their donors legislation.
Its time to become a territory of Australia.

Most of those I know that admit to bring NZF voters are against Winston going in with Labour again. I cannot stand Shane but I wonder how he would handle joining up with Labour and being close to Greens and TPM

Trevor you either have a short memory or a talent for ignoring historical facts.
Remember when Winston called David Seymour ‘New Zealand’s highest paid beneficary?’ How he scorned the idea of ever co-operating with ACT?
Remember how he said he would not work with Labour? Until he did.
NZF voters will not be asked what they are ‘for’ or ‘against’. New Zealand First is Winston and his followers worship him.
Winston and Shane will do whatever they need to keep their snouts in the trough.
The people I know say if National regain power it will be the nail in the coffin and will all leave for a much better life, economy and weather in Australia.
They don’t believe Winston has long to live however, so his influence is negligible.
