  1. Thanks for posting this.

Lets do this and get this finished for Helen and all those that find themselves in a similar position.

  2. Eight years after refusing established medicine’s treatment for Prostate Cancer I am fitter than before and symptom-free. I will not elaborate on the changes in lifestyle I have made – it is a complex strategy based on eliminating possible cancer enhancing foods and boosting the immune system through diet. What I would like folk in this situation to consider however, is what the profession has to offer cancer sufferers. It is not quite what one might expect from a so-called “scientific” approach..

    1. For Prostate Cancer there are a number of options. They consist of Radiation, (broad spectrum or targeted), surgery and Hormone therapy. The result of three major studies (U.S., Britain and Canada) revealed that patients who opted for any of these increased their chances of five-year survival by just 5% over those who opted for no treatment.
    2. The average benefit to either extension of life or quality provided by Chemotherapy is around 2%.

    3. Drugs are rushed to market with no demonstrated benefits:
“Conclusions This systematic evaluation of oncology approvals by the EMA in 2009-13 shows that most drugs entered the market without evidence of benefit on survival or quality of life. At a minimum of 3.3 years after market entry, there was still no conclusive evidence that these drugs either extended or improved life for most cancer indications. When there were survival gains over existing treatment options or placebo, they were often marginal.

People should do their own research before embarking on alternative remedies but also, more importantly, before accepting the Medical Professional’s advice.
