UN assessment suggests Ukraine children’s hospital hit by Russian missile

GENEVA, July 9 (Reuters) – A lethal strike on a children’s hospital in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, was likely caused by a direct hit from a Russian missile, the head of the U.N. human rights monitoring mission said on Tuesday, citing its own analysis.
The strike in broad daylight was part of a series of attacks that killed at least 41 people across Ukraine, including children. The Kremlin said it was Ukrainian anti-missile fire, not Russia, that struck the hospital.

One of the problems with criticising Russia for its latest barbarism is that any criticism of them must be accompanied by an even more damning of Israel because everything Russia are doing is magnified 10 fold by the violence Israel is committing.

This allows for Russia to keep up its criminal war against the Ukraine without the kind of condemnation they deserve because whatever you say about Putin has to go 10 times more for Netanyahu.

The next generation Western weaponry being sent to the Ukraine like the jet fighters, long range missiles and tanks are being delivered now and the danger will be a desperate Zelenskyy using those weapons to hit Russia directly to ratchet up the threat before Trump wins in November and forces him to the peace table in favour of Putin.

Things are about to get a lot worse.

  1. Today as per usual there was multiple air raid alerts in Kyiv. Both the actions of Israel in their invasion of Gaza and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine are barbaric. How people can scream about one and defend the other is beyond me.

    The only reason for doing so seems to be a hatred for “The West” and in particular the USA that overrides everything else.

    It is easy to condemn both and it is not a competition based on body count.
