  1. Nice piece Chris. Intervention, sometimes… A key line–“And what sort of borderless world would that lead us into?”

Nation States are handy devices at times and not at others for our masters. Capital in the form of corporate activity, and Finance Capital in today’s digital form, already has a borderless world! It is the rest of us that run into borders.

  2. Let’s get serious here Chris, if the american murder industry (military industrial complex) could make as many trillions out of Eco war as “conventional” war the problem would be solved overnight. We should also not forget that bolsonaro is america’s choice. (trump suggests Brazil get nato privileges???)

  3. Burning the forest is a great strategy, because a large percentage of the trees will survive the onslaught and the ecosystem itself will actually recover entirely. Yet, the timber will be rendered commercially useless thereby, thus protecting it. Homage to Nyadra’zatha

  4. As usual, bloody well written Chris Trotter. One can but shake the head in disbelieve that the goons are ignoring the forest destruction happening right now, taking no action, unbelievable! This is tantamount to condoning the burning of the planets survival. Damn all weak Politicians to hell.
