Extreme rainfall events a ‘peek into the future’, climate experts say
Dear ACT, NZF and National voters.
What did you think climate change would look like?
I appreciate for cultural reasons you can’t admit human pollution is causing the planet to super heat and push beyond environmental tipping points that once breached will cause enormous disruption to us as a species, but climate signage sure as Christ believes in you.
The argument that we can’t do anything is insane.
We can adapt!
I don’t believe for one millisecond that we can stop what’s coming, I don’t think anything short of AI decarbonisation at the atomic level could stop what is coming our way now.
This is the age of consequences.
According to Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet (which funds emergency management leadership and support):
-
$21.794 million decrease relating to funding transfers between financial years
-
$1.800 million decrease for Civil Defence Emergency Management training and administration
-
$1.285 million decrease for the Pacific Partnership Programme
-
$0.860 million decrease for establishment and expansion of the National Emergency Management Facility
Thatโs a *total of roughly $25.7 million less for these core items in 2025/26 than previously budgeted.
We need to fully fund the resilience required moving forward.
The tragic deaths from slips caused by extreme rain fall is the future.
It only gets worse and more extreme from this point onwards, that demands massive shifts in economic, political and social realities now.
We can’t ignore the reality in front of our eyes.
Extreme weather is the future and it just gets worse now.
Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, soย if you value having an independent voice โ please donate here.

We know what really is a hoax by what dominates the billionaire class-owned, mainstream media throughout the world, Or here in NZ where ready access to our political class, influences what makes, or headlines the news, in the same manner that big-money influences worldwide mainstream media news.
In other words, if it makes the news, if it is constantly in the news, then you are witnessing events that support big money, and politically powerful, interests, while no news or little news coverage is, of course, exactly what these same interests prefer. It can’t be a socialist hoax if weather is always in the news, Rigthies.
