The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog, 3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.
All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.
EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird Bullshit about the UN taking over the world and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

If the politicians went on strike we could be better off. But we need useful people like firefighters and that is something we have to get our heads around. How can we change our preferences. Is there a poll where we would choose which of industrial and social science classifications we would choose from for government and whether we would like that grouping better than what we have had for 40 disappointing and enervating years? Drop political parties and vote for a mix of trades and working people in general so we get nous, and then look for character and background, past history. Ideology pffft; experience and mana and commitment to the task, tied pay to median income no soaring on helium balloons!
Funny reading this about corporate buying kiwi things and then trying to establish some emotional connection.

The company that owns Cook Strait ferry operator Bluebridge is reportedly for sale.
Australian news outlet The Australian is reporting that Morgan Stanley Infrastructure is being lined up for a sale that could be worth between NZ$500 million and NZ$1 billion.
The ferry business was reportedly seeking proposals from investment bankers to sell it.
A spokesperson for StraitNZ, which was bought by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure in 2022 for $500m, told Stuff that the company would not be commenting on speculation.
StraitNZ operates Bluebridge ferries, which it has run since 1992, and also provides trucking and logistics services across New Zealand.
Watch this space – if I see that megamoneybags No.? is thinking of buying majority share in Kiwiland I’ll pass it on.
