Gaza‘s growing death, injury and sickness
Totals since 7 October 2023: killed 71,573 – wounded 171,264
The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 87 and, that of those injured, is more than 208. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

Casualty counts in the last 24 hours: Over the past 24 hours, the bodies of two Palestinians arrived at hospitals in Gaza, including one recovered from under the rubble, while 10 Palestinians were injured, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. The total recorded death toll since October 7, 2023 is now 71,391 killed, with 171,279 injured.
Total casualty counts since ceasefire: Since October 11, the first full day of the ceasefire, Israel has killed at least 424 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded 1,199, while 685 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble, according to the Ministry of Health.
Three killed and four injured by Israeli attacks on Monday: Israeli airstrikes hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the al-Mawasi area northwest of Khan Yunis, killing at least two people and injuring four, including children, according to Ma’an News Agency. Israeli aircraft fired at least two missiles at the tent, which is in an area outside the Israeli-designated “yellow line,” said a local correspondent. Israeli forces also shot a child in the head in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. Since the October ceasefire, Israeli forces have shot hundreds of Palestinians west of the “yellow line.”
Ceasefire violations across the Strip: Israel opened fire in Al-Zawaida and advanced military vehicles near the Abu Zaytoun area on the outskirts of the Jabaliya refugee camp, as Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip, according to Al-Araby TV.

Israeli Army attack – home invasions: Ramallah – 12:25, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Beitunya, raiding homes and shops.
Israeli Army attack: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions and occupation in refugee camps: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued its relentless daily storming of the city as well as the Nur Shams and Tulkarem refugee camps, raiding and occupying homes and other property, for use as military posts.
Home invasions and seizure: Jerusalem – evening of 4 January, the Ateret Cohanim Settlement Association seized a building with two apartments in the Batn al-Hawa area of Silwan, following a decision issued by the Israeli Supreme Court, justifying it by claiming the land belonged to Jews of Yemeni descendancy.
