Since dawn, Israeli military attacks in Gaza, including shelling from tanks, have continued. Civil Defence crews have retrieved one more body from underneath bomb-damaged property. Two more people have been killed and two more wounded. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, has risen to at least 70,103 and the total wounded is at least 170,985. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 89 and, that of those injured, is more than 218. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, with the exception of approved diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian requirements.
Israeli Army attacks: Jenin – 12:20, Israeli Occupation forces resumed their storming of the city and the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attacks – homes militarily–occupied: Tulkarem – Israeli troops, firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters, continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, invading and occupying homes, for use as military outposts.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded and 9 severely beaten-up: Bethlehem – 09:40, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of Khalayel Al-Luz, wounding a resident, Muhammad Omar Muhammad Salahat, and beating–up, causing severe injuries, nine others.
Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Muhammad Karshan, to destroy his home in the Al-Salam suburb – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
Home invasions and occupation: Tubas – Israeli Occupation forces continued their relentless incursions and imposition of curfew on the city, searching and occupying homes, for use as military posts.
Home invasions: Tubas – 01:10–16:55, Israeli forces continued their incursion into the town of Aqaba, searching a number of homes.
Home invasions: Tubas – 05:00–16:55, the Israeli Army resumed its incursion into the village of Tayasir, raiding and searching numerous homes.
Home invasion and population–control: Nablus – 13:15-15:10, Israeli troops raided the town of Asira al-Shamaliya, searched a house and interrogated a resident.
Home invasions and population–control: Salfit – 21:30-04:10, the Israeli military raided the village of Mashah, invading a number of homes and shops, seized surveillance-camera recordings, imposed a curfew and interrogated 11 residents.
Home invasions and population–control: Salfit – 00:45-04:10, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Al-Zawiya, searched a number of homes and interrogated 26 people.
Israeli Army assault with stun grenades and tear gas canisters: Qalqiliya – 20:30, Israeli Occupation forces fired stun grenades towards, and tear-gassed, people waiting to pass on both sides of the eastern city entrance checkpoint.

Israeli Army – violence – 4 injured – agricultural sabotage: Hebron – 14:15, Israeli troops beat–up and injured four people, Ibrahim Abdel Fattah Hassan Al-Sarrahin, Nawaf Muhammad Murshid Al-Akl, Wajih Othman Abdullah Aqel and Wael Ahmed Abdel Rabbot, while they were working on agricultural land, west of Beit Ula.
Occupation settler and Israeli Army population–control: Jerusalem – 15:00, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded a Bedouin encampment, near the village of Jaba’, with Israeli forces intervening and detaining, for a time, 12 residents.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Jerusalem – 18:30, Israeli settlers invaded Umm Tuba village agricultural land and felled olive trees.
Occupation settler terrorism: Ramallah – 23:10, Occupation settlers terrorised residents in the village of Al-Mughayir, roaming between and around their homes.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Nablus – dawn, Israeli settlers raided the Al-Masoudiya area, near the village of Burqa, vandalising a fence, cutting the agriculture irrigation network and stealing water-supply meters.
Occupation settler vandalism: Salfit – 03:35, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the Al-Gharas area, north of the village of Yasuf, damaging property, including four motor vehicles.
Occupation settler violence and robbery: Jericho – 04:20, a gang of Israeli settlers invaded the Arab al-Maliha area, in the village of Ein Al-Duyuk Al-Fuqa, assaulting foreign solidarity activists, four of whom were hospitalised with injuries. The settlers also robbed some of them of their passports and mobile phones.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Hebron – 12:15, Occupation settlers, escorted by Israeli troops, invaded the Beit Einun area, north of Hebron, stoning homes and damaging crops.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Hebron – 16:50, Israeli settlers, in the Umm Baghla area of al-Bureij village, assaulted four farm workers and prevented them from accessing their land.
Occupation settler violence – 6 injured: Hebron – 16:55, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded an area, north of Halhul, stoning homes as well as assaulting and injuring six people, including a pregnant woman, who was transferred to hospital.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Hebron – Occupation settlers and the Israeli military forced off farmers from their land in the Huwara area of Masafer Yatta, with the Israeli Army then enforcing a 24–hour closed military zone order on the land.

Didi here. As a refuser and the head of Refuser Solidarity Network, I’m writing to you at a fragile moment. News shifts by the hour: one headline declares a “ceasefire,” the next warns of the “reoccupation” of Gaza. Amid the confusion, one truth remains clear: the only force that has ever stopped Israel’s wars of annihilation is the people who refuse to fight them. This ceasefire was not granted by the government or diplomacy. It was forced into being by resistance: by global outrage, by organizing, and by soldiers who said no. Refusers slowed mobilization, broke ranks, and disrupted the machinery of war. Now those same refusers face a new challenge as Israel prepares to reoccupy Gaza under the guise of peace. That is why we are turning to you today. RSN is launching its end-of-year campaign to grow this movement with the momentum of the ceasefire. Netanyahu is betting on silence, on the world’s attention fading so he can deepen control. But we are still here. The struggle did not end but changed phase. That is why we need you today. We plan to continue training organizers, support refusers, and build the movement that can stop this. Help us today to reach our end-of-year goal of $50,000 so that we can continue to support refuser groups, build up their infrastructure, and expand our movement.
In recent weeks, Israeli officials have begun sketching plans for a long-term reoccupation of Gaza. New military zones have been mapped across the Strip, separating the west from the east. Armed checkpoints and “buffer areas” are expanding even though they are supposed to be temporary, effectively carving Gaza into controlled enclaves. Displaced Palestinians remain barred from returning home. The Israeli government doesn’t even pretend this is temporary while it entrenches itself in the Gaza Strip. This is a new phase of domination that is poised to expand. We need a strong resistance movement to stop it.
At RSN, we know refusal works. It worked during the Intifada, it worked during this war, and it will work now. Our mission is to make refusal widespread, organized, and impossible to ignore. We support the networks that make it happen: from reservist groups to grassroots activists. Together, we are building the most powerful resistance Israel has ever known, a movement that grows stronger each time someone says enough. But refusal demands resources. It needs us. Because the truth is, the ceasefire is fragile, the fire has not ceased, and the occupation is not over. Yet we have an opportunity to end the Israeli occupation, but it can happen only with real resistance.
But resistance will continue to grow, despite the ceasefire, and in spite of Israel’s plans. Support the movement that makes it possible and contribute to our campaign today.
