None of us can afford to have our citizen needs dealt with on gold plate, and systems passed though a fine-tooth comb. I suggest train citizens up to do the basics themselves and get consultants in when needed to advise and oversee, on a tendered basis, and have people seeking employment at the higher levels, on an auction system.
Let’s cut the cackle and be business-like. Neolibs are making fools of us, keeping a pretence of government which we pay heavily for, and having us pay business to deliver poorer service at an arms length than we had before. Meanwhile getting in touch with council and getting reasoned information is harder and they are putting me off my favourite aria while I wait on the phone, and stuff the internet where the sun doesn’t shine.
