The TikTok sensation highlighting hypocrisy of Right Wing American Christianity

Right Wing American Christians are a hypercritical hate cult.

Watching the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk for this brand of malice is a sobering reminder of just how crazed the American Evangelical movement truly are.

That’s why the TikTok sensation highlighting hypocrisy of Right Wing American Christianity is so glorious…

A lady on TikTok has made headlines with a social experiment where she calls up churches in the United States pretending to be a mother desperately seeking a can of formula for her hungry baby and documents which ones are helpful and which are not. The overwhelming majority of the places of worship she contacted have been unwilling to help a mother in need, including Joel Olsteen’s multimillion-dollar megachurch.

Which is interesting, because it invalidates pretty much every argument that gets made for American conservatism. The whole premise of a Christian nation guided by Christian principles with low taxes and no welfare because caring for the needful is the job of the church and charity services instead of the state gets blown out of the water when it’s shown that these institutions would turn away a mother with a starving baby.

…hilariously it was a Mosque, Black Churches and small Churches who did offer to help, and they in turn have been swamped by donations

A post on X from the account @lydiakauppi, which has been viewed 1.6 million times, detailed that one of the churches that offered to help Monroe has been flooded with donations.

“Heritage Hope Church of God has since received over $75,000 to their food pantry. The congregation says he’s been crying all week,” Kauppi’s post read.

..right wing Christians are hypocrites who don’t follow the teachings of Christ at all.

Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

  1. Just wrote you a message, Amanda, but not published.
Perhaps tell Martyn to just stand with sword in hand and don’t use Sir.
Or, you use some money? Funnier than Peters’ love of money money; that sort.

  2. They’re not Christians – they’re post-Christian heretics. A peculiarly American religion that left the Gospels behind long ago. They believe they are a chosen people with a particular destiny, ordained and watched over by God to implement his divine plans for the world. These days we don’t burn heretics at the stake – and obviously that’s a very good thing for which we are eternally grateful – but it does create a few problems.

  3. As Chris Hedges said in his fine “American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America” [2007] “when I see how these people are manipulating the Christian religion for personal empowerment and wealth and for the destruction of the very values that I think are embodied in the teachings of Jesus Christ, I’m angry.” I ‘m angry too.
So glad this Lady did this. Because my fellow Christians, it’s time we stopped accepting these people in our faith who undermine, pervert and ultimately will destroy the teachings of Jesus Christ. We know who they are in New Zealand: Destiny Church, The upper room, Elim and far to many of the evangelical churches to name here.
The Christian God, is the God of love, not a GREEDY, spiteful, hateful, violent one – far to many embrace today.

    • Ignatius many many church of regular faiths, RC, Anglican, Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist also fit into these categories. They keep the seats warm on Sundays.

    • Ecclesiastes tells us that what has been is what will be and there is nothing new under the Sun. We are going to repeat the dark ages with another church state combination as you have described. God is love so anyone forcing people to obey their rules is not serving God. This all seems a bit weird in a secular society like NZ but an economic collapse and lots of disasters can soon change people’s views.

  4. ‘Right wing Christian churches’ in the Usa are pro-Trump and pro Israel ( like Destiny church & beastly Brian here),,,, these Usa Zionists have proven they are fine with making children / infants go hungry and starve, so at least they are consistent I suppose ,,

, and we can add indifference to the suffering of the poor as well as racism ( that is what Zionism is ) to their sins.

The pastor from Charlie Kirks former church was recently speaking out against New York’s new Muslim Mayor and his supposed socialism, claiming that ‘it’s the church’s job to care for the poor and not the governments. ‘….

How ironic the Muslim Mosques demonstrated they are closer to the teachings from Christ than these unholy Zionist Christian scam artists ..

  5. The great contemporary Christian theologian and philosopher, David Bentley Hart considers modern American evangelical Christianity to be pretty much a heresy.

  6. Every empire has its own church.
The Holy Roman Empire had the Church of Rome.
The British Empire had the Church of England
The Czarist Empire had the Russian Orthodox Church, Putin’s empire still does
Donald Trump has the Evangelical movement
