Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile–launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in three dead and eight wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved two more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 68,875. The total wounded is now at least 170,679. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 225. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
Prevention of fishing
The Israeli Navy took prisoner five fishermen, at sea off the coast of Gaza City: Alaa Rajab Al-Hissi, Muhammad Ahmad Talba, Muhammad Rashad Al-Hissi and his two brothers, Mahmoud and Ahmad.
West Bank
Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Occupation forces have imposed a complete closure on the West Bank (due to the aggression in the Gaza Strip), and have prevented people, including permit–holders, from entering the city of Jerusalem as well as Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian cases after prior co–ordination, until further notice.

Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation forced a Silwan neighbourhood resident, Musa Badran, to destroy his home or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
