The truth about National’s lie over Labour’s debt – let’s go there.

We get right wing trolls screaming Labour spent all the money on Covid and that’s why we have to bend the knee to corporations taking over our public services now.

Damning Jacinda for having the temerity to save 20 000 lives during once in a. century pandemic while ensuring the country kept functioning is the height of hindsight arrogance.

Couple of things about the debt.

  • Key left NZ with $60 billion debt!
  • Labour borrowed $80 billion!
  • This Government will borrow $120 billion with an austerity budget that hollows out public services while giving landlords tax loop holes, the richest tax cuts, hundreds of millions to gas and oil, Big Tobacco and Real Estate Pimps!

Labour’s defence is a once in a century pandemic, National have done it running down public services to give tax cuts and tax breaks to wealthy pricks.

Don’t lecture us on debt again you redneck Trolls!

  1. Exactly right….the temerity, the deception, the arrogance and the ignorance all adds up to the very familiar propaganda yawn fest lie trotted out week after week, month after month, year after year ….

    That is…
    ” ‘The Right’ knows best how to handle the economy”.. and ” ‘The Left’ are all borrow, spend, and hope”.

    Nothing , but nothing , could be further from the truth.

    Fact…’The Right’ are uselessly
    hopeless at economics…history show that they get it wrong, and have a much worse track record than Labour and are clueless when looking at the quid pro quo factor.

    As just on example ..Just wait for the Nikki No-Boats ferry fiasco fuck up to run it’s full course…the losses…the wasted time, energy and money….the end result of less efficient ferries for the next 30 years is just one small example , a bell weather, a canary in the coal mine , high lighting the short sighted

    stupidy of how the right operate time time and time again.

    Personal greed, mate enrichment ,and jobs for the boys …
    all pissing in each other’s pockets …is what they’re all about.

Yep all those schools hospitals RONS that labour finished state house build and refurbishments ,the list goes on .This government stopped all that potential growth in its tracks due to being unable to admit Labour was ON TRACK .The coc has us back on track to being a third world sess pit of financial ruin and hate for the 90% of unsorted .

    • Yes Gordon…I visited the largest pre-nail residential house frame makers in the country the other week and the place was like a mourge….

      I spoke to the only rep. left…there used to be 4….all now in Aus. He has been there for 30 years and said that this is way worse than the 2008/9 Global Financial Crisis and was in shock at how fast everything had come to a grinding holt ..especially considering that they had started taking on more staff as things were really starting to ramp up post covid.

      The many forklifts that were buzzing around, loading the fleet of huge hi-ab trucks, queuing to get past security on the gate, are now idle… parked up, with only the odd truck breaking the silence as it makes its lonely way to the exit gate. …the gate security guy is doing crosswords to pass the time…a far cry from the perpetual motion that was used to characterise his job.

      You used to stand 3 deep at the counter waiting with the other 15 – 20 or so people to get served…now…stroll in …none , 1, or 2 people there …it’s a ghost town.

      This is what Luxon’s, Willis’s, Seymour’s and Peters’ growth growth growth looks like…. clueless!

      The COC Cult need to accept that they have been well and truly duped!

  3. LIES, LIES and even more LIES! This desperate CoC has to lie because they can no longer decipher what is real and what isn’t! When that doesn’t work, out come the smoke & mirrors, distractions and subterfuge. As you can all clearly see, there is no end to their antics. As children, many of us had our “mouths washed out” for lying – it sure worked. So let’s recap here and hopefully those with social media wil put this correct info into the public domain since our RW biased media will never spell it out!

  6. I have never seen so much desperate social media activity from the CoC as I am seeing now. Invisible MPs like Melissa Lee have popped up on FB ; X is a troll farm, Tik Tok and all the rest; but there are some really funny anti CoC ones too. (Melissa of course will lose her list place under current polling). She’s been an MP forever and apparently eats her lunch.

    • That’s interesting. Don’t look at any of those things so didn’t realise how desperate they are.
      Melissa Lee has ‘been an MP forever’, and what benefit have we seen from that?
      Of course, the most ‘bigly’ news this week, the huge example of Luxon’s cleverness, is that he’s invited Trump to come here to play golf.
      I’m uninviting him and I think most of us would feel the same.
      If Luxon put as much effort into actually working for the good of NZ and NZ’ders, as he puts into sucking up to sociopaths, we might get somewhere.

  9. Agree with all of the above and now we have a fucken mess in the education area with Stanford’s new knowledge rich curriculum, how much is this mess costing, and how long will it take to fix?
    Then we have Nationals ECE policy for families earning up to 230k as they quietly raised the income threshold for entitlement, not very well thought out policy and it shows how lazy they really are. And you cannot say an economy is doing well when you have high unemployment levels, increased crime rates and massive incarceration rates.

  12. Trouble is f’ing idiot ZB types keep making excuses for these wankers. Half of the disappointment with Labour was that they were too like old National. Gutless on CGT and nothing progressive. At least just like old National under Key they were not race baiting arseholes. That’s another thing ZB knuckle draggers completely ignore. They reminisce about Key and ignore the progress Māori made under his leadership. Sure it suited Key politically but even he was smart enough to see it makes sense for more to do well.
