The total killed is now at least 68,721. The non-updated number of wounded is 170,655. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 226. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

The Israeli military is continuing to bomb Gaza with around 10 air strikes on Khan Yunis in southern Gaza on Thursday, according to Al Jazeera, which reported that one of the strikes destroyed the electricity company building in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis city. Israel also bombed Beit Lahia in northern Gaza on Tuesday, killing at least two Palestinians. The strikes come after the Israeli military announced that it had “returned to the [ceasefire] agreement” following a wave of bombardment overnight Tuesday that killed over 100 Palestinians, including over 40 children. United Nations Human Rights Chief, Volker Turk, condemned the Israeli attacks on “residential buildings, IDP tents and schools across the Gaza Strip . . . appalling” and called for an immediate end to actions endangering civilians or violating the ceasefire.
West Bank
Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Occupation forces have imposed a complete closure on the West Bank governorates (due to the aggression in the Gaza Strip), and have prevented people, including permit–holders, from entering the city of Jerusalem as well as Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian cases after prior co–ordination, until further notice.
