Victims 24 October – 25 October 2025:

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile-launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 4 dead and 7 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved 15 more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, 220 more deaths were added to the final death toll, following fresh data studied and approved by the committee responsible for following up on the reports and missing persons’ file. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is now at least 68,519 and the total wounded is at least 170,382. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 227. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
After ICJ ruling, can relief agency UNRWA resume full Gaza operations?
The International Court of Justice has issued an advisory opinion, saying Israel must support United Nations relief efforts in war-battered and famine-hit Gaza.
The Court found Israel’s allegations against UNRWA – including that it had been complicit in the Hamas-led 7 October 2023, attack on Israel – were unsubstantiated.
The World Court also said Israel, as the Occupying power, must ensure that the basic needs of the Palestinian population of Gaza are met, “including the supplies essential for survival” such as food, water, shelter, fuel and medicine.

“The need for redress long predates October 7th, 2023. The crimes committed by Hamas and other armed factions on that day horrified us. The Israeli actions that followed were unconscionable. We bow our heads in immeasurable sorrow as the evidence accumulates that Israel’s actions will be judged to have met the legal definition of genocide. Attempts are already underway to deny accountability and reassert the same broken playbook of impunity. That cannot pass.”
West Bank
Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Occupation forces have imposed a complete closure on the West Bank governorates (due to the aggression in the Gaza Strip), and have prevented people, including permit–holders, from entering the city of Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian cases after prior co–ordination, until further notice.
