Civil Defence crews retrieved four more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total reported number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 68,234. The total reported wounded is now at least 170,373. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 228. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
Starving Gaza:
The Israeli Navy took three people, Abdullah Al-Absi, Mohammed Maqdad and Bakr Abu Abdo, prisoner, for fishing off the coast of Gaza City.

Summary:
The International Court of Justice has given an advisory opinion on Israel’s legal obligations towards UN agencies and other international organisations in the Occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The UN General Assembly (UNGA) asked the Court for its opinion last year, after Israel’s parliament passed laws, banning any activity by the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) on Israeli territory and contact with Israeli officials. Israel accused Unrwa, the largest humanitarian organisation in Gaza, of being infiltrated by Hamas – something Unrwa denies The UNGA also asked the ICJ what Israel’s obligations were to “ensure and facilitate the unhindered provision of urgently needed supplies essential to the survival of the Palestinian civilian population.“
West Bank
Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents and other permit-holders from entering or leaving. The Israeli military also imposes severe and highly–variable travel restrictions on all residents.

Israeli Army attack: Jenin – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city as well as the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack – olive harvest sabotage – 1 wounded: Jenin – 11:25, armed Israeli Occupation settlers, shooting indiscriminately, invaded Kafr Rai land, assaulting and hospitalising an olive harvester, Hamdan Mustafa Jawabra, and stealing bags containing the harvest he had collected.
Israeli Army attacks: Tulkarem – Israeli soldiers, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, invading and occupying homes.
Israeli Army attack – 1 youngster wounded – robbery: Hebron – 13:25, Israeli Occupation forces firing live ammunition stormed the city, wounding a 17–year–old youth, Louay Fawzi Al-Razem, and seizing computers, files and cash from the Administrative Headquarters of the Islamic Charitable Society for Orphan Care.
Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – 00:30, the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Nasser Yousef Abu Ramila, to destroy his home in the Al-Tur neighbourhood – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
