Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.
The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog, 3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.
All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.
EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird Bullshit about the UN taking over the world and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

A nurse has compared showering aged care residents to hosing them down in a milkshed, in a new report highlighting the impact of short staffing.
Residents were sometimes going two weeks without a shower and staff were forced to ration incontinence pads and wound dressings, it found.
Not enough incontinence pads is bad, they are really important if you need them. And that would mean having a wash/shower even more important. Wound dressings – why not enough. It’s pretty cheap as a quick treatment before deterioration and expensive human attention pushes up cost.
The Nazis deliberately kept some concentration camps short of water and basic needs for cleaning and toileting. Then they disdained the people as being dirty.
Lack of reasonable conditions and resources is cruel. It shows lack of basic human respect. We have had governments of the left and right letting bad conditions at Lake Alice and elsewhere continue for years for youngsters. Having got away with that disgrace they are bold and shameless with old people and prisoners.
Conclusion: – government in NZ is broken and diseased and living behind a false front of how good we were (never that good anyway) and they are rorting us. Helped by the self-satisfied middle class and oldie conservatives, who play at being socially concerned and community minded but want to retain all their money instead of sharing with the community as they can afford. Where will we go for a cruise next year dear??
And not give others the right to have planned deaths and funerals, but I’m not sure of the statistics on this. Has there been a poll on this, properly conducted so private and confidential with an ethical observer ie no-one from a prosperity church etc. It would ascertain old people’s attitudes to a legally prescribed method of chosen dying time, which would be likely to be more warm and poignant than waiting for the body and mind deteriorating to that last gasp.
