Reynolds Calls for Progressive Change in Waitematā After Casting His Vote
AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Patrick Reynolds, City Vision candidate for the Auckland Council (Waitematā and Gulf ward), cast his vote today, highlighting the election’s role in securing a thriving, connected, and sustainable future for the city.
“I voted for a councillor that delivers on five core promises: better connection, a thriving environment, stronger communities, a prosperous future, with liveable and protected islands,” said Reynolds. “This means building up in the right places, where there’s infrastructure, and in flood resilient neighbourhoods. Let’s build a world-competitive vibrant, successful, and culturally rich city, in this most beautiful of settings on the shores of the glorious Hauraki Gulf.”
Reynolds’ platform focuses on enabling more quality affordable housing in the right places and investing in reliable public transport to support housing growth for people of all ages.
“The Governing Body makes the strategic decisions that affect our entire city,” he stated. “My vote is for a progressive council that will build a resilient, affordable, and prosperous Auckland for everyone.”
The official election results will be released from Saturday, October 12th.
