Labour – 35%
National – 31%
We told you that there was a turning point.
We told you that those who hated Jacinda in their post-Covid bitterness, who were led by culture war revenge fantasies but who never read the fine print of what a National, ACT or NZF Government would actually implement – we told you they would realise in horror what they had voted in and they would turn away in disgust.
That moment is happening as the economy crashes due to the actual policies this hard right Government have adopted.
That moment is happening and the wider Left need to have the policies ready to turn against the damage these right wing extremists have driven NZ down.
We told you this would be a 1 term Government.
Now watch the Right Wing Hate Trolls scream….
Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

“Left need to have the policies ready”.
Looking forward to an expansionary economic sovereignity development plan already sorted for day one.
Translation = While many realise that a Labour + Greens + TPM govt would be a total clusterfuck because the present govt is so inept even the alternative is looking for many like the less shit option.
Would you like the empty-suit corporate drivel & rising costs sir or woke shoved down your throat all the god-damned day?
You are sounding nervous James, your right wing Gods have forsaken you. The tide is turning, keep crying though – your tears are delicious
Yes Daily Blog I was wondering this as well.
Bit excited when writing this it seems.. Proper punctuation might have rendered it readable, and possibly slightly rational, but only slightly..
The assumptions required to write it are out of date, and shallow, and show a less than clear thought process, but at least you tried…
Word to the “wise”… Conclusions based upon assumption simply compound the weakness of ones argument, and simply highlights the lack of substance within that rather than any discernable point one is attempting to make…
As your teacher would say… “Would do well if he tried harder”…
Has James done enough work to be a C- student though?
I note Luxon has abandoned Willis yesterday .Last time when there was a supposed jump in GDP they were both dancing a ji and spouting look what we did .This time the skin head gang leader is nowhere to be seen ,no doubt making a plan to escape under the cover of darkness.I see John Key riding in on his white horse this morning to rescue his damsel .Hope fully the horse takes fright and jumps off a cliff with both of them .
As sure as night follows day this ridiculous ragtag bunch of incompetent, ignorant, deluded misfits , commonly known as the Coalition of Clusterfuckery, was headed for disaster from the outset .
Just the briefest of listens pre- election, to what they were calling
policies, should have st tge ajarns bells ringing….but no…commonsense and critcal thinking were out the window…delusion reigned supreme.
Delusion… backed by big money and people with access to the airways.
Mike Hosking, Fran O’Sullivan, Jamie Mckay and many others are all responsible for their relentless promoting of this current pack of nohoper charlatans…
They are complicit in how N.Z. has now found itself in such a parlous state of affairs.
The N.Z. economy and social services have been so vandalised so pillaged ,so raped and destroyed before being driven off a massive cliff that the climb out will take years , if not decades, to recover
from.
It beggars belief that National are still polling at 31% ….which shows that their is a Trump type rump of voters that still believe, through some form of magical thinking , that somehow they know what they are doing and will pull a rabbit out of the hat.
Here’s a heads up…they don’t and they won’t!
If Labour hits high 30s even in various polls it is bye bye Baldrick and co. This is a reasonable result since so far out from the election.
Yes I wonder what % the other parties have they may well be over 50% between them now .
Careful Bomber. The right have not unleashed their full catalogue of culture war hysteria yet. Garner is doing his best but when they all get going and if Te Pati Maori sing and dance to the rights tunes (as they’ve been doing so far) the election could still be a challenge.
When the right can’t win the economic argument they turn to other electoral tools based on division and fear and these are very effective when the media plays along.
agree CS these fuckers will stoop to the lowest
What % did the Greens come in at ?
Now watch the Right Wing Hate Trolls scream….
Yep, there is plenty bitch screaming here already!
Labour is gaining ticks just because they are not the government not due to any policy .Let’s see the results once their tax policy is announced.
Straight over 50%
They’re gaining ticks because National had failed abysmally. Your own statement confirms this.
Looking positive for a Labour government and partners.
Their tax plans and coalition partners will see Labour’s popularity collapse.
Yes I wonder what % the other parties have they may well be over 50% between them now .
Has any one else noticed how the big business doers are now sinking the government they wanted .Just need to look at the job losses and closures this week alone .Nelson area will be on its knees soon ,followed by Hawkesbay and Tokoroa is completly screwed .Auckland is moaning worse than Willis but the regions are tanking big time because as Killer keeps saying there is no stock left to kill .70 people sacked from meat works in Te Kuiti a few weeks ago thats a big hit .
You are not wanting to see the trend of the last few polls are you .Even your mates at taxpayers are shitting them selves and bombarding me with shit every week .
Actually maybe Chippy has just sat back to wait & watch this fiasco coalition of idiots implode under the pathetic political leadership of brand Luxon. I’m with you Bomber you’ve picked it every time.
I’m sure there is a corporate company out there that need’s a small brained sniveler to run there business into the ground so a real business person/company/corporation can buy that business for nix after Clusterluxon has Fuc*ed it.
Ha f#ckity ha , it’s just so delicious to watch.
I saw a graph this morning that showed that 90% of the time the last government presided over growth in the economy .Since 2023 it has been bellow 1% at best .All that growth under labour happened while Luxon was touring the country and the world telling all and sundry that the NZ economy was toast .Now it is totally fucked ,and the only thing saving Luxon is the fact that 200 people a day are leaving instead of going on the dole .
The results of the poll overall was a 1 seat majority to the Left IF. TPM can be included in the mix . The country would be in deep shit if it came about .
