I despise the property market.
I think speculators and those who parasitically feast on its greed are a fucking cancer!
The Speculators, the Banks, The Real Estate Pimps, the Property Manger scumbags, the Slum Lords and the NZ Herald and Trade Me advertising mafia are all exploitative of renters and one day Allah willing we will drive them all into the sea.
The manner in which this Government are captured by the Real Estate Pimps is deplorable.
Luxon is so desperate after Nicola slashed public budgets to borrow for tax cuts and landlord loopholes that he is attempting to re-inflate the speculative housing bubble by selling citizenships and changing overseas investment laws to allow them to buy into the residential housing market.
Luxon is looking to lower capital requirements for Banks and is pressuring the Reserve Bank every time before the OCR.
The entire political system is a bought and paid for prostitute to the property speculators, and Real Estate Porn site, One Roof, has the fucking audacity to ponder if there will be a racist backlash to prop up their untaxed greed…
‘Billionaires v Lotto winners’: Green light for rich foreigners to buy NZ homes once again
…CLASP THOSE PEARLS YOU NZME PROPERTY PIMP
These fucks claim the Gold Visa ‘citizens’ who have bought their way into the country, will only buy rich houses.
DID YOU HEAR THAT?
As the Housing market crashes, this Government is doing everything to ensure the richest amongst us can still sell their house to another rich person.
What a victory for all those middle class families just trying to get through to be told the Government is willing to sell our citizenship to ensure people richer than them will be looked after.
Glorious.
You should be furious and want nothing but a river of contempt and vomit to drown these real estate pimps, not because of xenophobia, but because the Speculators have bought this Government just the way the Dairy Farmers and Billionaire class have.
Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

Luxon’s latest plan to impoverish kiwis further while flooding the country with US citizens (who are alien to the NZ psyche with their superficial charm, ignorance and arrogance), will lead to further social unrest and Luxon, like the unblinking iguana before him, will be driven into the ocean with burning sticks and bobbing along in the currents like a blob of fresh ambergris he will make his way back to his Hawaiian homeland.
The issue is what do we replace it with.
These expensive homes are being built by tradesmen employed by builders and sold by real estate companies so there sale creats well paid work all round. We are talking homes selling for over 2 million so there is no effect on the market at entry level
I thought that was the point of the article, Luxon is looking after house prices for the very wealthy while letting the market drop for those of average or less financial ability. Nothing to stop the wealthy buying the cheaper houses as they become available, with any purchased at the market peak likely to reduce in value as people who suffer an income reduction are unable to pay the mortgage.
If they are from overseas they are not allowed to buy investment properties they need to live in what they buy hence the top end of the market gets the bump.
So having a handful of tradesmen working on a high end build for, on average, for over a year, for at best a few people, is going to fix the housing market, and save local economies? C’mon Trevor, you can think up better excuses than this surely?
Trevor and strumpet early in the best seats for the furore of mortgagee sales. I used to work in Oz in a solicitors firm and two of the younger ones were married and used to dash around in his sports car and see if they could pick up property cheap from forced sales – this was in the 1970s. They were blase about advantage at that place. One younger one used to see how often she could travel free on public transport, bluffing her way through with lies. It was like playing snakes and ladders for young adults.
When solicitors take top places in anything that isn’t strictly the law, you get middle class people with little idea or curiosity about what is important for basic human values. When things are bad some will speak up and attempt more fairness but its middle class nirvana now and besides conveyancing, nothing matches up with interesting law without much emotional hand-wringing as in crime, family fighting etc.
