It is a `thumbs down’ from me for this Prime Minister.
SIR DAVID NARRATES:
As can be seen this individual has opposable thumbs which marks it as a primate.
If it had hair we could recognise it as one of the intelligent, great apes, conspicuous for their empathy and sense of social responsibility.
It is, however, hairless and its inane grin suggests it is one of ‘homo toryanus’ probably of the subspecies ‘novozelandie’. A species well known for its selfishness, indecision and hypocrisy.
A NZ skin head gang leader giving the thumbs up because his lates shipment of meth has crossed the border from Hawaii has landed and he has exclusive rights to fentynel with FBI support
The ‘lower’ classes always enjoy a brief moment of sarcasm making fun of those with power. But things will never get better for them while making inane remarks with a healthy guffaw as their only response; for change of the unpleasant reality, that’s unhealthy. Clever, committed minds need to look for ways to raise the standards of respect for each individual’s gifts, seeing each other as a worthy part of a whole which is rich in ideas. co-operation and social engagement. Aldous Huxley thought about such human relationships all his life, which had its difficulties, (and found having a committed partner, in his case a woman, a must and fillip*). There are a lot of videos on youtube of Aldous – we can catch up with him belatedly. One thing that stayed with me – the bit about self-slavery – How the Pursuit of Pleasure Can Ruin Our Lives Aldous Huxley and Modern Slavery (This is portentous but beautiful to look at and the words are clear.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj08F5aet2I 19.43m

Praise is an excellent fillip for waning ambition.
Just a mention – the link re Aldous Huxley is I think to an AI generated site. I thought it looked too fancy, and when I came to examine it further I found it referred to the late great Mr Huxley as Elvis Huxley. (A mistake that any numbskull could make.) And when I went to google and requested Elvis Huxley it took me straight to Aldous Huxley. So there is our future – floating round in a sea of information which Huxley thought would be a great problem. Bit when it is AI generated feel-truth, it becomes about as useful as social media – which I don’t think is worth the paper it is written on!
So you think Luxon is better because hi thinks he is sorted ? Clearly it is ok, in your mind, for the PM of a country to call the people bottom dwellers ,scum bags ,drop kicks ,losers ,and fricken (which is christian for fucken ) but those people are not allowed to return the insult .Why he even spent time in the UK slagging the NZ business people as being useless .And we can now see what a fraud he really is when it comes to business cant we .Just in the last two days we have seen first hand what a useless business person he is .Surly if your customer was going to put a surcharge of 15% on the product you were selling you would be knocking down the door asking what the hell are you doing .But no he sat on his hands and allowed Winston to dictate what was going to happen .At least in this case he wont be able to blame Labour or Jacinda so maybe Winston is headind for a ride under the bus.

You say “The ‘lower’ classes always enjoy a brief moment of sarcasm making fun of those with power. But things will never get better for them while making inane remarks with a healthy guffaw as their only response”
Don’t ignore the power of public ridicule. It can really have a great effect on some people.
Even Aldous Huxley used it in his own way and his remarks were far from inane.
Luxon, having failed as a Prime Minister, tries to hitchhike to the US.
Great one.
Wealthy and sordid.
Guess which one I suck
I love this section, Political Caption Competition. Some of you are very clever and erudite.
I notice it doesn’t attract our critics, which might be a blessing.
