GUEST BLOG – Redacted Just Aired Talk Liberation’s Mission: Bringing Ethics to The Internet

Here’s a quick update on Talk Liberation’s recent success: we took Islandsbanki to court—and scored a critical victory.

With our WikiLeaks legal team, we pushed the bank to comply with witness testimony demands, shattering their strategy of simple evasion. The judge ruled they must produce employees to testify at the next hearing on September 2, 2025. This is a turning point in holding them accountable for freezing our seed funds and making damaging accusations which deeply impacted our business.

Key moments from the hearing:

  • Suzie Dawson dismantled the bank’s false claims with documented proof of full compliance.
  • Our lawyer shifted the burden of proof onto Islandsbanki, exposing their AML reports—the potential root of our global banking blacklist.
  • A key witness corroborated the bank’s deliberate obstruction, including withholding unfrozen funds from our own lawyers.

This isn’t just about Talk Liberation. Islandsbanki’s actions cost Iceland millions in potential and now lost tech investment. Meanwhile, Suzie’s 25-year New Zealand bank accounts were abruptly closed—a pattern of financial suppression we’re fighting at an apparent global level.

De-banking is a weapon. We’re compiling cases worldwide to expose it. Visit BadBanki.com to share your story or take action.

Another cool recent update: Talk Liberation Founder, Suzie Dawson, went on the Redacted podcast, a 2.7 million+ Youtube Channel, to discuss our above legal case, explain financial targeting as censorship, dive into Panquake, and give insight on who we are, what we’re doing and where we’re going Watch Suzie’s interview on Redacted and read our full case breakdown.

Despite every attack—from Big Tech censorship to frozen funds—we’re still here, building tools for a freer and ethical internet. Thank you for standing with us.

  1. Martyn,
I suspect that I suffered from de banking episodes, and I still can’t face up to trying again, and I will probably never investigate — too painful.
How could somebody like me get put on a list to harass if it wasn’t something that Ardern instigated?
