Following the notice of vacancy issued earlier today, and with the closing of expressions of interest for the Tāmaki electorate candidacy, we acknowledge and thank all those who have put their names forward. Your commitment to kaupapa Māori leadership is a powerful act of aroha and responsibility to our people.
The selection hui will take place this Thursday 6pm at Hoani Waititi Marae, and is an internal process involving Tāmaki electorate members only.
The successful candidate will be formally announced this Friday.
Note: This is a party matter. The selection hui is not open to media or the public- it is strictly internal to Te Pāti Māori members of Tāmaki Makaurau.
