  1. Voting at age 16 is ridiculous. The Party’s that want the age lowered are those who can scare the young into voting for them, like the Greens.

    As opposed to those who scare old people into voting for them by saying house prices may fall.
    Those who scare people into voting for them by saying the country faces an epidemic of lawlessness.
    Those who scare people into voting for them by saying we need to ally ourselves to the USA and take part in pointless wars.

    • The Party’s are those who can scare the people into voting for them using racism as a tool, like ACT and NZ First.
      The Party’s are those who can scare the people into voting for them using false promises on tax cuts, new Picton ferries and gutting the public service, like National.

  3. If a 16-year-old can get married and have sex, then why can’t they vote if they want to, as many of these 16-year-olds will have more clues than others already voting and the many not voting.

    • 100% agree .These young people have more clues than Winston and Seymour do .If those two looked at the makeup of the population now they would realize they are living in the dark ages .White supremesy is coming to an end in NZ .
