Destiny Church’s Brian Tamaki protests against ‘foreign’ religions in NZ

Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki is leading a march down Queen St, claiming “the spread of non-Christian religions is now out of control” in New Zealand.

The march started at noon in Aotea Square on Auckland’s Queen St.

Tamaki and his supporters denounced Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh and Palestinian communities at their rally in central Auckland this afternoon.

“Tear it, boys”, the self-described Bishop told supporters holding a Buddhist flag, among several they destroyed while performing haka.

Palestine, Islam, Buddhist and Sikh flags were torn and stomped on by the men, in video footage shot as Tamaki spoke.

Ummmmm, the Bish knows that ‘Palestine’ isn’t a religion right?

When his Christofascist Brown Shirts for Christ aren’t bravely beating up librarians and story telling drag queens, they are on the street harassing other people of different faiths.

Look.

I don’t care what magical flying invisible wizard you believe in, this is a liberal progressive democracy – you are free to believe what you want, but when you start trying to invoke religious violence on the street, shouldn’t you be forced to fuck off?

How does Brian constantly make Jesus and God so uncool and malicious?

  1. This guy is so stupid. Doing a haka for Christianity? It was a bunch of Christians that stole from your people, tried to suppress your culture, but go right ahead you dumb shit.

In fact isn’t Tamaki’s Christian cheerleader act for Orthodox Jews a bit misplaced? I am not sure they would be reciprocating.

    • First thank you for your good wishes on previous blog.
Your opinion of Tamaki is the same as mine .He gives true Christians a bad name .Money and power is what he really worships

That’s probably because quite a few of them are in the closet on the dow-low

  3. Fools!
We worshippers of the Great Fire Snake are still beneath the radar and increasing our numbers yearly!
( last year 10 now twelve).
Strange how leather wearer and meticulous groomer Tamaki is so anti-Gay? But my mother always used to say love is akin to hate.

  4. That image looks “surprisingly” like the infamous photograph of the Beer Hall Putsch ” in 1930’s Germany .

A march abruptly ended by a volley of police gunfire and dead Nazis.
      Unfortunately we are too civilised.
