40 more killed and 208 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire, on homes as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 40 dead and 208 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved one more body from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 54,510. That of the wounded is now at least 124,901. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 1 child shot and killed: Ramallah – 15:05, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, shot and killed a 14–year–old boy, Youssef Fouad Faqha, during a storming of the town of Sinjil. The Israeli troops refused to release his body.
Israeli Army attack: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces continued their constant storming of the city.
Israeli Army attacks – homes occupied – others demolished: Tulkarem – Israeli forces continued their more than five months of storming the city and the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, opening fire towards residents, invading and occupying homes for military purposes and demolishing other homes and property.
Israeli Army attack – 1 minor shot and wounded: Nablus – 19:10–01:10, Israeli forces stormed into Beit Furik, wounding a 17-year-old youth: Abdul Rahman Adel Abu Khait.
Home invasions and population–control: Jerusalem – evening, Israeli forces raided Bir Nabala and searched a number of homes and shops.
Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation forced a resident to destroy his home in Beit Hanina – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
Home invasions – refugee camp – 2 taken prisoner: Ramallah – 02:55, the Israeli Army raided the city al-Bireh as well as the al-Amari refugee camp, invading homes and taking prisoner two residents..
Home invasions: Tulkarem – 18:20, Israeli troops raided the Irtah suburb and searched a number of homes.
Home invasions – refugee camp: Nablus – 01:25–04:15, the Israeli military raided Nablus as well as the Balata refugee camp and searched a number of houses.

Israeli Army youngster beaten and hospitalised: Nablus – 20:45, Israeli troops beat–up and hospitalised, with severe injuries, a 17–year–old youth: Sameh Abdullah Issa.
Occupation settler pastoral sabotage and robbery: Ramallah – dawn, an Israeli Occupation settler, accompanied by Israeli forces, invaded the Abu Hammam estate in the village of al-Mughayirand grazed his livestock there, assaulting family members and other people, robbing them of two mobile phones.
Occupation settler stoning: Ramallah – 14:25, Israeli settlers stoned passing vehicles, on the road between the villages of Kharbatha Bani Harith and Bil’in.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Tubas – 12:30, Occupation settlers grazed their livestock on Bardala village agricultural land.
Occupation settler violence: Tubas – evening, Israeli settlers, near the al-Hilweh road junction held up an approaching motor vehicle and assaulted a number of occupants.
Occupation settler terrorism: Bethlehem – 16:45, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the outskirts of Khalayel al-Loz village and threatened a villager, Ibrahim Eid Abayat, close to his home.

A flying tear gas canister injured a man, Muhammad Hassan Abu Ara (breaking his hand), as well a doctor, Mahmoud Ghanem, who suffered suffocation due to tear-gas inhalation.
