  1. TOPICS TONIGHT:
What should NZ be doing regarding Gaza?

NZ should be doing what Ireland is doing.

But the ffirst thing that NZ must be doin,. is putting pressure on the opposition Labour Party to reverse their official policy of genocide denial as articulated by Phil Twyford and confirmed by Party leader Chris Hipkins.

The government of Ireland has just become the first Western government in the world to call this a genocide.
But this did not originate with the government, it started with the Irish opposition parties holding the Irish government to account.

Good on Phil Goff for starting the ball rolling in this country.

On May 28, representatives of conservative parties Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, part of the current Irish government, voted down a proposal brought forward by Sinn Féin that would have granted the Minister for Finance the authority to restrict the sale of Israeli bonds. The bill was defeated by a margin of 87 to 75, despite support from opposition parties and independent parliamentarians who vote with the government on other issues…..
….The actions of the government and the CBI greatly contrast with the will of the Irish public, which has demonstrated strong support for Palestine. “Allowing the Irish Central Bank to continue to deal in Israeli war bonds is an endorsement of genocide. It makes Ireland, in my view, complicit,” McDonald said in another statement. “It flies in the face of the ordinary people of Ireland who have marched, protested, campaigned and, with everything they have, stood up for the right of the Palestinians to live and live free.”
Widespread grassroots pressure and mass mobilizations has contributed to the country’s formal recognition of the State of Palestine in May 2024. Opposition parties argue that this public sentiment makes the gravity of the government’s inaction even worse…..

Catherine Connolly, an independent, accused the government of not doing enough to punish Israel for its 19-month-long war on Gaza, which has killed more than 54,000 Palestinians, more than half of them women and children, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
“I’m disgusted and sickened, sickened – watching children dying on our television screens and every day I come to work, and work with all the people in here to do our best to show leadership at a time of horrific conflict,” Harris said.

if I was in the studio tonigt I would ask Phil Goff if he is going to have a quiet chat with Phil Twyford and Chris Hipkins about their policy that there is not genocide in Gaza. And how about changing it to fit the reality and then holding the government to account in the house to do something about it

  2. HMNZS Te Kaha should be shelling zionist checkpoints preventing the aid sent by the human race from getting into Gaza, rather than harassing Yemeni fishermen on behalf of the zionist pedos.

  3. Too bad ACT MP Simon Court couldn’t make it.

You gotta hand it to Natasha Hausdorff she never misses an opportunity to debate that Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza.

Hi Martyn, I thought you may be interested in this debate.

    The moot:

…..debate the allegation that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

Maybe you could invite Simon Court and Phil Goff back to have a similar debate.

  4. Phil was enormous ,no wonder Winston sacked him .He has just shown what a cock Winston is .However now he is a free man he can speak up and tell it how it is .Winston has done the country a favor while shooting himself in the foot again .Phil would be a far better minister of foreign affairs than Winston could ever hope to be .

  5. Brilliant Korero, dear comrade Bomber. It’s so much better without Damian.

Ka pai and Kia kaha xxx
