China by far is creating cheaper and more affordable electric cars and solar panels. NZ should be looking to China for a specific arrangement that opens the NZ market up to Chinese electric cars and solar panels to ensure the electrification of NZ is a priority while we invest in our own drone industry in NZ for manufacturing jobs alongside more data centre infrastructure.
With Free Trade dead, we need to strategically turn to China for Green Economy and ourselves for our own security.

A couple of days ago it was reported that solar panels produced in China were possessed of a ‘kill switch’ so that they could be immobolised during a crisis or some other time of China’s choosing. Are you sure that you want to give them that much power over us? It seems unwise to me.
